Home
Instruction
is designed
for students with handicapping conditions, who are in need of instructional
services while they are confined to their homes because of a medical, orthopedic
and/or serious emotional condition. This category provides instruction for
students who are unable to attend their primary educational program in a
school setting. The Home Instruction program follows the curriculum as prescribed
in the students' most recent primary educational program, with modifications
as appropriate. As a result of this temporary educational service, the homebound
students are able to return to school with little or no loss of educational
progress.

Our
Mission Statement
As developed by the School Leadership Team.
Students,
parents, and the Home Instruction
School Leadership Team will
work collaboratively to ensure
that each child, commensurate
with his/her skills, will
maximize achievement and
address performance standards.
Students who receive home instruction will become productive members of their communities and society. Home Instruction Schools will continue to develop and implement procedures that ensure successful transition from the student's school of affiliation to Home Instruction Schools and then back to the school of affiliation.
